Data processing and concent
During sign up for a photo shoot (hereinafter referred to as Photo shoot), the person to be photographed, if they are of age, or their guardian (hereinafter referred to as Customer) will be asked to agree with these order and delivery terms, as well as the following:
• the person to be photographed may take part in the Photo shoot
• the Customer agrees to receive the photos for a review in our online service without placing a separate order
• a person’s photos may be delivered to the school / daycare center / sports club / company / community that purchased the Photoshoot (hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser)
• a person’s group and friend photos may be published and delivered to all of the people in the photos and/or to their guardians, and that
• the Photography studio and photo production in Finland may handle the personal data of the Customer or the person in the photo in connection to the Photo shoot and in accordance with the company’s privacy policy
• the Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the name and group information provided upon sign up
In the event that the person to be photographed is not signed up beforehand, the Photography studio cannot guarantee that the person will be photographed and the photos will be made available for purchase in the online store.
Online store
After the Photo shoot, we will send an invitation to the email address provided by the Customer to visit our online store, where the Customer may view and order the desired photo products. All products and prices can be viewed in our online store.
The price of the photo package tendered by Helsinki: 6.20€ (VAT 24%), the price without VAT: 5.00€ (VAT 0%). The photo package includes a group photo, a portrait sheet with five photos, and a sticker sheet with 12 photos. It is also possible to buy each of these products individually. The Customer must check their customer data and delivery address when placing an order in the online store. Confirmed orders cannot be further edited or cancelled, as they are automatically forwarded to production and an order confirmation is sent to the Customer’s email address.
The prices of photo products in the online store include the costs of organizing the photo shoot, portrait, friend, sibling and group photography, finalisation of the photos, checking the details of the photographed person and the group, and the costs of producing the photo products.
The Photography studio reserves the right to refrain from selling certain products or limit the quantities sold.
The Photography studio reserves the right to cancel orders in the event of clear errors in pricing. This refers to cases of incorrect product pricing resulting in the price of a product listed in the online store deviating significantly from the product’s actual price. In such cases, the price difference is substantial enough that the Customer is expected to understand that the listed price cannot be correct.
Payment service provider
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) operates as the payment intermediary service provider in cooperation with the Finnish banks and the credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license. In cases of any complaints, we kindly ask you to contact the supplier of the product first.

Order delivery
Prior to the photo shoot, the Purchaser has agreed that orders are delivered directly to the address provided by the Customer or to the Purchaser. Products that cannot be delivered as letters will be delivered as parcels. Delivery costs are charged according to the current online store price list and vary depending on the chosen delivery method.
The seller is liable for the fitness of the goods under the Consumer Protection Act. The buyer must report any errors or defects in the goods without delay but, in any case, no later than within two months of their occurrence. The seller cannot be held responsible for any product defects resulting from misuse. The natural wear of a product cannot be regarded as a defect.
If the order is damaged during transport by a third party, a damage report will be made to the company in question.
We only deliver to Finland.
The person placing the order must be 18 years or older.
The Photography studio reserves the right to changes.
Returns
In the unfortunate event that, despite the care we take in all of our activities, you find manufacturing defects in our products, you have the normal 14-day right to exchange any such products to ones that meet the aforementioned criteria. The products of Helsinki’s basic photo package (Portrait sheet 1+5, sticker sheet of 12 photos and L-sized group photo) also have a 14-day right of return. Your photographs are personal and we obviously cannot sell them to anyone else and, therefore, cannot accept procucts back, even if you change your mind about them. The right to return or exchange does not apply to digital products.
If a delivery is damaged in transit, the recipient must file a complaint with the transport company upon receipt. If a product becomes defective due to transit damage, the recipient must notify our customer service of the matter without delay.
Consumer Disputes Board Decision reg. no. D/1227/36/2020 states that school photos are products that are clearly made to meet the personal needs of the ordering party, which is why the photography studio cannot resell them. Therefore, the Board considers that the buyer does not have the right referred to in Chapter 6, Section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act to cancel part of their order and get back the purchase price paid to this extent.
The cropping tolerance between the final photo and the one shown in the online shop is one millimeter.
Returns of the products of Helsinki’s basic photo package or defective products must be sent in by post using their original envelope or package, if it is still available and intact. You can return the photographs of multiple children in the same envelope. Enter the following as the address on the envelope:

The production of photos is subcontracted by the Finnish company Ecolor Oy.
Ecolor Oy works as a subcontractor of services for photography studios. The company offers carbon-negative printing services, finalisation of photos and customer service for photographers, photography studios and consumers in Finland. Failure to pick up a delivery
Please note that we charge a fee of €19.95 for each delivery that the Customer fails to pick up to cover our production, shipping and processing costs. The fee is deducted from the sum paid for the order in the case of a return. Returned products are not sent again. Instead, they are delivered to the appropriate party for disposal.
Dispute resolution
The Photography studio cannot be held liable for delays due to force majeure or indirect harm caused by deficiencies in product condition or delivery delays. The Photography studio reserves the unilateral right to change the agreement terms. Before making an order, the buyer must study the agreement terms effective at that time.
In the event that an amicable resolution cannot be reached for a complaint case, the Customer is entitled to present the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution. The Customer has the right to raise proceedings against the photography studio in the District Court of Helsinki.
